Prolab

Don't go to the lab, let the lab come to you

We are offering the following testing facilities at your doorstep

Complete Blood Count Profile - this will give you the varying levels of Hemoglobin, Red Blood Cells, White Blood Cells & Platelets at a glance. A CBC helps your doctor check for any symptoms that you may have, such as weakness, fatigue or bruising.

Malarial Parasite - this test is performed to help diagnose malaria, to monitor for relapses, and to determine drug susceptibility of the parasite causing the infection.

Blood Group & Rh Factor - this test will let you know your Blood Group so you can safely donate blood or receive a blood transfusion. It is also done to see if you have a substance called Rh factor on the surface of your red blood cells.

Fasting/Random Blood Sugar - regular blood sugar monitoring is the most important thing you can do to manage type 1 or type 2 diabetes. With this test you can monitor your blood sugar level to see what makes your numbers go up or down - like diet and lifestyle changes.

Fasting Lipid Profile - this test will monitor your Cholesterol level and can help prevent a cardiac arrest or heart attack. This test is also needed to check for dyslipidaemia symptoms, it is also carried out to check adults and children who are risk prone to high blood cholesterol value and triglycerides. This happens because of development of diabetes, high blood pressure or a heart disease.

Liver Function Test - this test can be used to screen for liver infections, monitor the progression of a disease and determine how well a treatment is working and measure the severity of a disease, particularly scarring of the liver (cirrhosis).

Kidney Function Test - these are simple blood and urine tests that can identify problems with your kidneys. You may also need this test if you have other conditions that can harm the kidneys, such as diabetes or high blood pressure.

HbA1c - this is a diagnostic test for Diabetes, showing you the percentage of blood sugar consumption in the last 3 months. It is an important indicator of long-term glycemic control with the ability to reflect the cumulative glycemic history of the preceding two to three months. HbA1c not only provides a reliable measure of chronic hyperglycemia but also correlates well with the risk of long-term diabetes complications.

Anti-Hepatitis-B - positive results usually indicate inactivity of the Hepatitis-B virus and low infectivity. Positive anti-HBe results in the presence of detectable HBV DNA in serum also indicative of active viral replication.

Anti-Hepatitis-C Virus - a blood test, called an HCV antibody test, is used to find out if someone has ever been infected with the Hepatitis-C virus. The HCV antibody test, sometimes called the anti-HCV test, looks for antibodies of the virus in blood.

Dengue Antigen - Dengue fever testing determines whether a person with signs and symptoms and recent potential exposure has been infected with the dengue virus. The infection is difficult to diagnose without laboratory tests because symptoms may initially resemble those of other diseases.

HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) - this test is used to screen one’s hygiene. Studies show that the sooner people start treatment after diagnosis, the more they benefit from ART. Treatment with ART reduces the amount of HIV in the blood, reduces HIV-related illness and prevents transmission to others.

Home Service for X-Ray - A unique service that helps your loved ones to stay at home and get radiology assessment. Technical barriers have been broken down thanks to the use of portable, visual communication devices and dedicated imaging software that allow doctors instantaneous access to visual data.

Thyroid Profile - these blood tests can define whether the thyroid gland's hormone production is normal, overactive or underactive.

Female Infertility Profile - this test helps to understand the female menstrual cycle disturbance & delay in pregnancy. This blood test checks levels of follicle-stimulating hormone, which triggers the ovaries to prepare an egg for release each month.

Vitamin D Level - this test is used to determine bone weakness, bone malformation, or abnormal metabolism of calcium.

Vitamin B-12 Level - Vitamin B-12 is an essential nutrient that plays a vital role in overall health. This test determines a person's Vitamin B-12 status.

Sars Cov-2 RT PCR - this is the Gold Standard molecular test for screening the COVID-19 Virus.

Covid-19 Rapid Antigen - this test gives a quick status of the COVID-19 Virus infection

Neutralizing Sars Cov-2 Antibody (Post Covid Vaccination) - if you are vaccinated against the COVID-19 Virus, know the status of your immunity.
